He was predeceased by: his sisters, Rita Gallen, Bernadette McGarrity and Theresa Nean. He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie Dowd; his children, Edward R. Dowd III (Kellie), Daniel J. Dowd (Natalia) and Maria Ann Milnik (Vince); his grandchildren, Patrick, Sean, Daniel, David Dowd, Bailey, Kacey and Vincent Milnik, III; and his sister Grace LaCombe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Mass cards preferred or as Ed would say, "show kindness to others".
