She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard Townsend and Irene Townsend; her husband Louis R. Smith; her siblings, George, Robert Townsend and Ruth Groves; her sons, Jeffrey (Sara), Bruce M. and Scott (Jane); and her grandchildren, Edward, Jennifer, Travis, Lanae, Lisa, Laura, Brendan and Krista.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Deborah Smith. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
