He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Proko and Genevieve Proko (Jaski); and his pet Joanne. He is survived by: his wife Joanne (Krochmal); his daughter Jeanne (William Kennedy); his grandchild Christian Porter; his sister-in-law Rita Krochmal; and his brother Jon Leon Proko of Placer County, CA.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to the Francisvale Home for Smaller Animals in Radnor, PA, an organization whom Joe supported.
