It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary T. McDevitt of Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Charles P. McDevitt, Jr.; and her parents, Irish Friel (Hugh) and Winifred Friel. She is survived by: her children, Mary T. McDevitt, Joseph H. McDevitt (Mary Jane), Michael K. McDevitt (Patty) and Charles P. McDevitt, III; her grandchildren, Elisa Winkelman, Joseph McDevitt (Lauren), Caitlin Gardner (John), Erin McDevitt, Megan Esham (Michael), Ryan, Sean and Brendan; and her great grandchildren, Morgan, Connor McDevitt, Ella, Grace Gardner and Joseph Esham.

In lieu of flowers an offering in Mrs. McDevitt's name to West Catholic Preparatory School, 4501 Chestnut St. Philadelphia, Pa. 19139, would be gratefully appreciated.
