It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia L. Downs (Newtown Square, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 17, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Aloysius Xavier and Margaret Mary Crowley; her sisters, Julia McLaughlin (James) and Margaret Herr (Richard); and her husband George J. "Buddy" Downs, Jr..
She is survived by: her sister Marie Farnesi (Frank); her children, Donna Lynn Carden (Robert), George J. Downs III (Daneen), Robert F. Downs (Jennifer) and Monica M. Gallo (Christopher); her grandchildren, Robert, George, Matthew, Kelly, Kevin, Julia, Joseph, Caroline, Addison, Cooper, Christopher and Catherine; and her great grandchild Lucas. She is also survived by grandparents and the many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Patricia's memory to the St. Anastasia Endowment Fund, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073.
