We are sad to announce that on October 14, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Rita Mallon of Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antoinette Civitella and Nicolas Civitella; and her siblings, Dominic Civitella and Gloria Knapp. She is survived by: her husband Michael Mallon; her children, Kathleen Lowery (Mark), Maureen Curran (John), Michael Mallon (Dottie), Patricia Haase (John), Teresa Emory (Bob) and Daniel Mallon (Dina); and her brother Thomas Civitella (Sue). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the St. Anastasia Church (3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Anastasia Roman Catholic Church (3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Rota to the American Cancer Society, 1818 Market St., Philadelphia, PA 19103.
