We bid farewell to Alice M. Betts (Newtown, Pennsylvania), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 10, 2025 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frieda Gunser, and William Gunser, Sr.; and her siblings, Kathryn Scott and William Gunser, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband J. Harold Betts, Jr.; her children, James Robin Betts (Ellen), John Timothy Betts (Denise) and Jennifer Lynn McKenney (Jon); her grandchildren, Christine Isaacson (Brett), Amber DiIanni (Michael), Justin Betts, Brian McKenney, Shannon Brooks (Peter), Jenna Bosworth, Michael McKenney, Jamie Amodei (Anthony), Jillian Dubost, Kevin Johnson and Samantha Johnson; her sister Peggy Holland; her siblings-in-law, Eleanor Gunser and Donald Betts (Ruthann); her granddaughter Jessica Betts; and also, Kimberly Puhalla, Aimee Owens and Brett Holland. She is also survived by her 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Swartz-Givnish Funeral Home (323 Washington Ave, Newtown, PA 18940). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Thompson Memorial Presbyterian Cemetery (1680 Aquetong Rd, New Hope, PA 18938).
In keeping with her true benevolent spirit, Alice requested memorial donations in lieu of flowers.
