He is survived by: his wife Joan Sokol (Komarek); his children, Daniel Sokol (Wendy Sokol) and Andrea DeVita (Jamie DeVita); his granddaughter Josephine DeVita; and his sister Helen Hemingway. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to The National Shrine of Our Lady Czestochowa.
