It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Deacon John J. Pfeifer (Newtown, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 27, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maureen Pfeifer; his children, Dorle Pfeifer (Dessire Paradis), Jack Pfeifer, Mason Pfeifer and Lucia Pfeifer; his parents, John Pfeifer and Marlene Pfeifer; his sister Marlene (Tom); his aunt Mary Smith; his brothers-in-law, Dave (Pat), Willilam (Terri), Joseph and Daniel; his kidney donor Joseph Murphy (Christine); and his pet Nicky. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Andrew Catholic Church (81 Swamp Rd, Newtown, PA 18940). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
