He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Thomas and Frances Thomas (Smith); his brother Steven; his former wife Patricia; and his children, Dawn McElroy, Deborah Barnett and Richard Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Jane; his children, Kimberly McDonald (Brian Stutzman), Shiloh Kramer, Robin (Frank Fittipaldi) and Kelly Seth; his grandchildren, Thomas Barnett, Courtney Barnett, MaryJane Moyer-Fittipaldi, Amber, Matt Cousens, Kyle McDonald, Bradley McDonald, Ricky Thomas and Rosalena Fittipaldi; his nephew Clayton Thomas; his daughter-in-law Loretta Maxwell; and his cousins, Susan, Orville Walters and Wales.
