He was predeceased by: his parents, John DeYoung and Helen Sanquilly DeYoung; and his sister Nancy Walton. He is survived by: his wife Mary Margaret "Peggy" Luff DeYoung; his brothers, William DeYoung and Robert DeYoung; his children, Robert DeYoung Sr. (Lisa) of Pipersville, Jody Sckupakus (Frank) of Trevose and Angelene DeYoung (Diane) of Milltown, NJ.; his brothers, Thomas DeYoung (Barbara) and John DeYoung; his grandchildren, Robert Jr., Brianna, Joseph DeYoung, Jake and Jordan Sckupakus; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald, Jean Luff, Phyllis, Tom Orrino, Teri and Dan Pagnotta.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Gary Sinise Foundation, P.O. Box 368, Woodland Hills, CA 91365.
