It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Sperber (Newtown, Pennsylvania), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William W. Sperber; and her son Robert Sperber. She is survived by: her children, Daniel Sperber, Dawn Slawter and William W., Jr.; her grandchildren, Danielle Sperber-Paff (Drew Paff), Kyle Sperber, Alexa Hope Slawter, Luke William Slawter and Gabriella Joy Sperber; and her great grandchild Ryan Zacniewski. She is also survived by her siblings, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lambie Funeral Home (8000 Rowland Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19136). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery (830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA 18940).
