He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cynthia Favata Rufe; his daughters, Katharine Kirsten "Keri" Rufe, Kristin Leigh McGee (Matthew) and Amy Elizabeth Rufe (John Kruempelstaedter); his stepdaughters, Tiffany Marie Alexander and Meredith Anne Fields; his siblings, William Hart, III (Jewel), Robert Grim Rufe (Mary Louise) and Elizabeth; his brother-in-law Samuel Jackson; and his grandchildren, Quinn Francis Aleardi, Elizabeth Marie Alexander, Christina Grace Alexander, Emerson Jeannette McGee, McKenna Katherine McGee and Nathaniel Hunter Fields.
