He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Travers and Hattie Travers; and his brother Richard Dick Travers. He is survived by: his wife Joan Marie Travers; his children, Kevin Travers, Kimberly Friedberg and John Scott Travers; his stepchildren, Karen Dengler (Kurt), Steven Ennis and Gary Ennis (Jean); his grandchildren, Kevin Sean, Kara Grace Davidson (Evan) and Brandon Friedberg; and his stepgrandchildren, Caitriona Olmstead (Jesse), Sean Ennis Jared Ennis (Abby) and Chase Ennis.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations in his name can be made to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) or to St. Jude's Hospital for Children.
