He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" Whyte; his children, Karyn Grindle (David) and Michael Whyte (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Benjamin, Lilyanna, Josephine, Kaitlyn and Jordan.

In lieu of flowers, the family humbly requests that anyone who Larry positively impacted in life pay that kindness forward to another as an ongoing tribute.
