He is survived by : his wife Joan; his children, Avra (Elie Gordis), Seth (Renee Hersch), Jonathan (Julie Hersch), Elicia Brand (David Leudemann) and Marni Brand (Mike Berg); his grandchildren, Tamar, Ben, Amy, Rebecca, Ezra, Arielle, Shira, Noah, Carter, Parker, Isla, Kye and Joss; his sister Judy; and his brother-in-law Marvin Kantor. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
