We announce the death of Roger Shalvoy Mitchell of Newtown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 18, 2026, at the age of 81. Roger will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Shalvoy Mitchell and Roger Leon Mitchell; and his son Roland Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Susan Witt Mitchell (Newtown); his daughter Cora Mitchell; his nieces, Laura, Stankiewicz and Cheri Nowak; his nephew John Scott Mitchell; his sister-in-law Kathleen Moore; his stepchildren, Ryan Leonard, Kevin Leonard (Bekki), Noah, Quinn, Avery, Logan Leonard, Asher, Layla and Chelsey Leonard Sands; his friends, Jim Sheridan, Rich Noack and Roger; and his brother John.
