He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry P. Sweely and Kathryn M. Sweely (Kuntz). He is survived by: his wife Virginia (Schell); his children, H. Douglas Sweely (Lori) and Jill Leisten (Ross); and his grandchildren, Kurt Sweely (Heidi), Kate Sweely, Madeline Doss (Kyle) and Rachel Erskine (Jacob).
