With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kenneth G. Varner of Newville, Pennsylvania, born in Walnut Bottom, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Beattie C. Varner and Almeda Zinn Varner; his children, Tony and Vonnie Varner; his grandson Jason Varner; and his siblings, Glenn, Richard, Russell, Floyd, Rodney, Lee, Marlin, Galen Varner, Fredith Querry and Dorothy Shaffer.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Varner; his children, Tammy Varner (Kerwood Weaver) of Newville, Craig Varner (Sue) of Carlisle and Ronnie Varner of Harrisburg; his brother Robert Varner (Virginia) of Shippensburg; and his sister-in-law Kathy Jardine (Dennis) of Carlisle. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.
