He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Gus and Cora A. Wertz Rand; and his brothers, Norman and Wayne Rand. He is survived by: his wife Connie Miller Rand; his children, William J. Rand Jr. (Deanna) and Amanda Lynn Barrick (Sam); his grandchildren, Clover, Lydia and Gwynne; and his brother David Rand.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Egger Funeral Home (15 W Big Spring Ave, Newville, PA 17241). A memorial service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
