He is survived by: his children, Benedict Diaz, Jr., Felicia Diaz (Imad) and Maria Diaz (Tyler); his siblings, Maurice Diaz, Manual Diaz, Jr., John Diaz, Cecelia Zammito, Josephine Diaz, Gloria Conway (Vince) and Catherine Foltz (Garry); his brother-in-law Charles Stankevich; his aunt Solange Fernandes; and his cousin Joe Nunes.
