He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard L. Gorder and Beverly Van Gorder (McCrea); his wife Deborah Van Gorder (Evans); and his children, Robert Van Gorder (Amanda), David R. Van Gorder, Susan Van Gorder (Dean Newhart), Samantha Soblesky (Andrew), Tiffany Van Gorder and Richard Van Gorder.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home (232 S Main St, Montrose, PA 18801).
