He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smith and Virginia Smith. He is survived by: his children, John Smith of Indiana, Lori Spath of Illinois and Leslie Koch of Illinois; his stepsons, Gene White of Duluth, MN, Brian White of Tunkhannock and Duane White of Clarks Summit; and his sister Linda Sadowski of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
