Emma L. Bland Obituary

We announce the death of Emma L. Bland of Norristown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 18, 2026, at the age of 95. Emma will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Cooper and Lizzie Cooper Sr. (Mims); her husband Richard Bland; her granddaughter Sereena Bland; and her siblings, Elijah, Mamie, Minnie, Lissie, Virginia, Flora and Leslie.

She is survived by: her son Richard Bland of Norristown; her stepdaughter Izetta Greene; her grandson Richard Evans; and her nibling Including. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.
