He was predeceased by: his parents, Elze Solomon Pugh, Sr. and Sophia Helen Brown-Pugh; his siblings, Willie Elsie Pugh, Robert Etheridge Pugh, Catherine Pugh, Freddie Pugh, Jr. and Eric Pugh; and also Thomas Pugh, Jr..

He is survived by: his sons, Ty'quan Williams, Jordan Moore, Kye Moore of New York and Chris Ross of South Carolina; his siblings, Willie Pearl Pugh-Smith (Poole), Minnie Pugh (Smith), Geraldine Pugh (Culbreath), Benjamin (Ben), James L. Pugh, Ann Pugh and Thomas Pugh; his caregiver Rachelle Stevens; his godson Nicholas Stevens; and his friend Michael Stevens. He is also survived by two granddaughters, and two grandsons.
