He is survived by: his children, Lauren Wittig (Robert) of Norristown, Robert C. Cary, III (Alyssa Pesini) of Conshohocken, Jaclyn Cary of Norristown and Zachary Van Sant of Norristown; and his grandchildren, Emily, Olivia, Ryan, Sophia, Christian and Nicholas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the March of Dimes.
