She is survived by : her husband Ernest James Smith; her children, Nicole Elyse, Jessica Marie and Ernest Smith III (Julia); her grandchildren, Jason Eli and Janna Marie; her sisters, Deborah Byrd, Patricia Russell (Courtney), Rochelle Grady (Cleveland) and Rhonda West; and her parents-in-law, Ernest G. Smith and E. Pearl Smith. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion AME Church (1312 Willow St, Norristown, PA 19401). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the George Washington Memorial Park (80 Stenton Ave, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at the same location.
