He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence H. Grantz and Dorothy Grantz (Thompson); his wife Caryl Joyce Grantz (Shellhammer); his son Timothy A. Grantz; and his siblings, Clarence H. Grantz, Darlene Hartge and Charlene Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel R. Grantz of Vandergrift, Michael P. Grantz (Tammy) of Washington Township and Robin L. Grantz (Jay Lookhart) of North Apollo; his grandchildren, Mathew P. Grantz of Apollo, Meghan L. Marsili (Dario) of Upper Burrell, Vanessa M. Waldenville (Dustin) of Vandergrift, Lauryn of North Apollo, Ava of North Apollo and Kyle Grantz of North Apollo; his great grandchildren, Maya, Athena and Clara; and his sisters, Valjean Labanish of Greensburg and Sharyn Grantz of Ford City. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. - Apollo (100 Owens View Ave, Apollo, PA 15613). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Fairview Cemetery.
