He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Reis and Doris Jean Reis (Martin). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Reis (Jarbeck); his children, Matthew Reis (Jennifer) of Mechanicsburg, PA and Jacquelyne Reis Zona (Derek) of Marion Township; his grandchildren, Nolan, Elisabetta and Cecilia; his brother Jack Reis (Kathy) of Belpre, Ohio; his uncle Don Martin; his cousins, Kathy, Scott Lane, Jeanmarie and Bill Rogers; and his extended family, Jim Jarbeck, Gloria Pulford, Patty Brubaker (Dick), Bobby Jarbeck, Chrissie Broughler, Rebecca Ramirez (Roy), Bea Burk (Kenny), Bonnie Kline, Jeff Jarbeck (Tracy), Marti Sherwin (Troy) and Julie Walko (Don). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
