She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas Higgins, Sr. and Helen Marie Higgins (Russell); her former husband John R. McGerl; her grandmother Elizabeth Bingham; her siblings, John Thomas Higgans, Jr., Mary Kensill and Denise Space; her aunt Margaret Higgins; and her son-in-law Martan Kelly, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Tracy Connors (Scott, Sr.) of North East, Michael McGerl (Kathy) of North East and Lisa Kelly (Tony) of North East; and her brothers-in-law, Kenneth Kensill and Jerry Space of Erie. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
