She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter A. Yost and Marietta Mae Yost (Bennett); her husband Melvin Northrup; and her siblings, Mary Hiles, Ruth Dorrance, Donald Yost and Robert Yost.
She is survived by: her children, Mark C. Northrup (Barbie), Daniel C. Northrup (Kristen) of Dripping Springs, TX, Denise Morey (Jeff) of Palmetto, FL and Cheryl Goss (Ted) of North East; and her grandchildren, Rebecca, Jessica, Allison, Andrew, Aaron, McKenzie, Grayson, Danielle, Hunter and Harrison. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home (65 S Lake St, North East, PA 16428). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of North East (43 S Lake St, North East, PA 16428).
