The memory of Janice Williamson of North East, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 4, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph J. Rizzo and Beatrice Rizzo (Sanfratello); her husband Edward J. Williamson II; her siblings, Jeffery G. Rizzo, Joseph "Joe Pep" Rizzo Sr. and Joan "June" Marie Triana (Hooks); and her son-in-law Mathew Lewis-Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Edward J. Williamson III (Cheryl), Richard Williamson, LouAnn Williamson and Sheri Williamson; her goddaughter Lori Helfrich; her sister-in-law Cathy Rizzo; and her grandchildren, Ashleigh Suscheck (Adam), Mathew Lewis-Jones, Jessica Harkness (Andrew), Carolee Galloway (Elmer), Ryan Bahm (Kira) and Edward J. Williamson IV. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home (65 S Lake St, North East, PA 16428). A prayer will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St Gregory Thaumaturgus Church (48 S Pearl St, North East, PA 16428). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at the St. Gregory Cemetery (9501 W Main St, North East, PA 16428).
