We are sad to announce that, on January 23, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Jay Confer of North East, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Confer and Betty Confer (Oesterling); and his siblings, Margaret Hetrick, Mary Joan Confer, Ronald, Stanley and Patrick Confer.

He is survived by: his children, Greg Confer (Leigh Swoger) of North East, Jim Reynolds (Michelle) of Allegany, NY, Matt Reynolds (Mandi) of Forney, TX and Shana Pierce (Scott) of North East, PA; and his siblings, Theresa McCool (Fred) of Smethport, PA, Beth Confer of Georgia and Charles Confer (Kathleen) of Georgia. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
