She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Rowe and Bertha Rowe (Schaffer); her husband James Holmes; and her sons, Kurt, Scott and Jim, Jr..

She is survived by : her sons, Dr. Morgan Holmes (Susan) and Dallas Holmes; and her grandchildren, Collin Holmes, Rachel Holmes, Heilyn Holmes, Kara Heitzenrater and Kathleen Obuszewski.
