She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphonse Rixner and Sara Rixner (Glenn); and her husband Joseph Karas. She is survived by: her sons, Steve Karas (Debbie Schell) of Harrison City and Doug Karas (Janice Stankovich) of Irwin; her grandchildren, Holly and Benjamin; and her brother William Rixner of West Virginia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
