He was predeceased by: his mother Carmen M. Olave (Gulfo). He is survived by: his father Dr. Raul A. Olave; his wife Patty Olave (Ponitz); his sons, Hector Olave, Jr. (Kelly) and Nicholas Olave (Gina Romano); his grandchildren, Grayson and Blakely Olave; his siblings, Luis Olave, Guadalupe Fernandes, Piedad Smith and Carlos Olave; and his father-in-law Walter Ponitz Jr.. He is also survived by brothers- and sisters-in-laws, numerous nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William Snyder Funeral Home, Inc. (521 Main St, Irwin, PA 15642). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (308 2nd St, Irwin, PA 15642).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
