He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hails and Ruth Watson Hails; and his siblings, James, Eddie Hails, Jan Danchenko and Ruthie Lebron.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Gordon Hails; his children, Jason Hails (Megan) and Mandie Wiltshire (Logan Scott); his siblings, Richard Hails (Nancy) and Valerie Riggen (Paul); his grandchildren, Cheyanne Gess Brannan (Evan) and Zoey Hresko Leigh (Julian); and his great grandchildren, Corey, Chloe and James. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in Jack's name to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), or to the Hails family.
