It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved LaRae E. Basilone of North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 89, on June 13, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph D. Carroll and Genievieve "Jean" Hamilton Carroll; and her husband Michael J. Basilone. She is survived by: her children, Paul Miller (Jen), Sherri Kovalcin (Craig) and Traci Wilhoit (Lyndon); and her grandchildren, Christopher Kovalcin (Michelle), Derek Kovalcin (Nikki), Jessica Hondal (Bryan), Brandon Miller (Mandy), Shelby Miller (Anthony), Alexandra Snyder (Ryan) and Megan Patter (J. P.). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, Inc. (176 Clay Pike, Irwin, PA 15642). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Agnes Church (11400 St Agnes Ln, Irwin, PA 15642). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at the Penn Lincoln Memorial Park (14679 US-30, North Huntingdon, PA 15642).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pet Friends or Meals on Wheels.
