He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ratesic and Bernadine Ratesic; and his brother John Ratesic. He is survived by: his wife Michelene Ratesic (Zabec); his daughter Anna Inglese (Scott); his grandchildren, Haylee and Daniel of Irwin; his daughter Erin Dugan; his grandchildren, Kyra and Kiley of Irwin; his son Patrick Ratesic (Mandy); his grandsons, Gavin, Colin and Ivan of Irwin; his sisters, Anne Bell (Ed) of Coulter and Kay Feagles (Gerry) of Massillon; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Ratesic of White Oak.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Parkinson's Foundation.
