He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Mihalchik and Elayne Mihalchik (Muscante). He is survived by: his wife Renee J. Mihalchik (Stefanic); his children, Madeline (Tom) and Michael; and his siblings, Mike Mihalchik (Bonnie) of Penn Township, Sheryl (Mihalchik), Maletic (Brent) of Washington and Marlene McArdle (Jim). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers a contribution can be made to the Lamp Theatre or the McKeesport Model Railroad Club.
