He was predeceased by: his father John C. Smith; and his grandparents, Elmer, Mary Schartner, Samuel Louis Smith and Alma Smith.
He is survived by: his mother Lynn M. Smith (Schartner); and his brothers, Joseph Smith of North Huntingdon, David Smith (Jodi) of North Huntingdon and Michael Smith (Carie) of Albuquerque. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
