He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Halas and Mary Halas (Andre); and his siblings, Frank and Helen Kametz. He is survived by: his wife Dolores E. Halas (Jacob); his sons, Scott (Lisa) and Mark; his sister-in-law Carolyn Halas; his grandchildren, Brandon Halas (Susi) and Danielle Boger (William); and his great grandchildren, Oliver and Benjamin Halas.
