She was predeceased by: her parents, William James Coates and Belle Painter Lewis Coates; her husband Edgar David Brea; and her sisters, Hazel Coates, Evelyn Prescott and Corrine Geideman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl King (Rick) of North Versailles and Cynthia Toth (John) of Sharpsville; her grandchildren, Ashley King-McCarty (Graham) of Astoria, NY, Adam King (Meighan) of Lower Burrell, Allyson King of Oakmont, Colin Ward of Hermitage and Corey Ward of Hermitage; and her great grandchildren, Phineas McCarty, Emmett and Lucas King. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Forgie Snyder Funeral Home (1032 Broadway Ave, East McKeesport, PA 15035). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the First Evangelical Free Church (4001 University Dr, McKeesport, PA 15132).
