He was loved and cherished by many people including : his spouse Romadore Abdullah (Mullen); his children, Mobarick K. Abdullah III, Aaron and Tracey Thorton; and his siblings, Haleema Levi (Daniel), Raffia Ford (Wayne) and Wali Abdullah (Nancy). He was also cherished by other family members and friends.
