He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Butler and Jewel Butler (Lance). He is survived by: his wife Major Jean Dlugose (Farina); his children, David "Dave" Dlugose (Joyce) and Susan E. Dlugose; his brother Daniel Dlugose (Carol); his sister-in-law Dianne Walker; his grandchildren, Kayla, Adam, James, Jessica, Paige and Jacob; and his great grandchildren, Maricella, Amiyah, Camren, Amari, Jaylen, Jahmaleel and Julian. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Salvation Army (521 Pembroke Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18017).
