With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce E. Butz of Northampton, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 17, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Joyce departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joyce may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joyce leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul W. Butz and Verna E. Butz (Hess). She is survived by: her siblings, William P. Butz of Northampton, Willard W. Butz of Brockway, PA and Janet J. Eberts of Walnutport. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schisler Funeral Home (2119 Washington Ave, Northampton, PA 18067). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
