He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Amy Ortwein (Kenneth), Kenneth Bernd (Karen) and Matthew Bernd (Amy); his grandchildren, David Ortwein (Jessica), Daniel Ortwein (Lindsay), Lauren Oleskowitz (James), John Bernd, Joshua Bernd and Macy Bernd; his great grandchildren, Rebecca, Jackson, Lily and Emma; his sister Elaine Bigot; and his cousin Francis Williams.
