He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Sr. Tepes and Margaret Tepes (Stranzl); and his brothers, Charles and Joseph. He is survived by: his wife Bernice S. (Marhefka); his son Tim (Lynn); and his granddaughters, Grace and Olivia. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to the church in Louis' memory.
