She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl W. Heckman and Marion I. Heckman (Fritzinger); her husband Warren H.; her daughter Jane Litwin; her son-in-law Charles Litwin; and her siblings, Donald Heckman and Carol Luther (Heckman).
She is survived by: her children, Jay Hower of Northampton, Earl Hower (Shelley) of Leesburg, VA, James Hower (Amy) of Northampton and Jean Susko (David) of Nesquehoning, PA.; her grandchildren, Dr. Jeremiah Hower (Melody) of Florida, Michael Hower of Leesburg, VA, Jennifer Alvarado (Anthony), Justin Litwin, Emily Hower of Northampton and Michaela Susko of Nesquehoning; and her great grandchildren, Sebastian of Massachusetts, Juliet, Natalie of Florida and Gracie Mae of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
