With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anna Packer of Northumberland, Pennsylvania, born in Sunbury, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 4, 2024 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anna Packer to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Samuel Lewis and Margaret Lewis (Broderick); and her siblings, George, Harry, Thomas, Samuel, John, Charles, Trevor, James Lewis, Evelyn Bright, Margaret Marschang and Agnes Lewis.

She is survived by : her husband John W. "Woody" Packer Sr.; her children, John W. Packer Jr. (Ronnie), Todd Packer (Cyndy), Dean Packer (Joe), Thomas Packer (Sheila), Julie Apple (Kevin) and Jennifer Kerwin (Chris); and her brother-in-law Fred Packer. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Monica Catholic Church (109 Market St, Sunbury, PA 17801). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 10th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
